Thank You Livenation for making me aware
of Dispatch and OAR's tours for this week!
Two undeniably talented groups were graced with my presence this week...
okay, maybe it's the other way around.
OAR |
Dispatch |
When I found out OAR was coming to town, I about died.
Since '96, "Of A Revolution" has been releasing inspirational, raw and lively music.
Not being able to find anyone to go with approaching the concert, it looked like I was going to go alone. Honestly, I'd be perfectly okay going alone because I'd still in the presence of OAR, but hey, the more the merrier!
A week or so before the show, I wound up reconnecting with a friend who ended up coming with me to this spectacular show.
So close I could nearly smell their breath |
Sir, you sure do know how to put on a show. |
Thanks for the solos! |
This kook makes the picture... the guy behind me. I'm not a kook... |
We are all a revolution. |

Still on Livenation's website after buying tickets for OAR, I was casually entering various artists into the search bar in hopes to come across someone worth seeing. I searched one of my absolute favorite bands, Dispatch, truly not expecting anything whatsoever to find out that they are playing just short of a couple hundred miles away! First, I about died of cardiac arrest, ( I encounter near death experiences quite often) then, I grabbed my phone and got a hold of my three favorite kinds and basically told them they are going with me to this show. Stevie, Kyndrick, myself and my man Alexx took ourselves a fantastic road-trip over to the windy city, Chicago.
Perfect shot of the city by Kyndrick before the show |
Stevie and Kyndrick Hodson Picture Perfect and even better in person |
My man, Alexx and myself Clearly not understanding the Picture Perfect concept |
No one would join me in the water... Reasoning? There was a heavy seek-shelter-immediately type storm approaching. Not a good enough reason for me! |
Attending two different concerts, in different cities with different companions made for a truly incredible week. So thankful one, that I can afford such luxuries, and also that I got nothing but a few bloody scratches on my left leg from attempted Parkour.
